It looks like that despite the claims an Obama-led health-care “reform” program, with a “public” (read: government) option, would not end private insurance or lead ultimately to a “single-payer” (read: universal) system, such results are exactly what Obama and some in Congress envision. Take for example this report on Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.).
But the White House continues to deny that such results are what will happen. Take for example this White House video attempting to refute what it views as “disinformation” in the health-care debate:
