Looks like Canada is coming to grips with the failures of its health-care system. The incoming president of the Canadian Medical Association says the following about the system:
We all agree that the system is imploding, we all agree that things are more precarious than perhaps Canadians realize. … (Canadians) have to understand that the system that we have right now – if it keeps on going without change – is not sustainable.
Americans pondering what type of “reform” to impose on our health-care system would do well to note the results of the systems in other countries like Canada.
